VanHorn Design started as a full service landscape design company, working to help industry leading contractors improve their project outcome and overall reputation in design / installation. The backbone of VanHorn Design’s service to contractors was many years of landscape installation experience as well as cutting edge computer design.

Today, VanHorn Design is still helping contractors as a full service landscape design company but also focusing on helping homeowners directly with the design process. 3-Dimensional imagery and colorful renderings of landscape designs make the process of creating a unique outdoor environment truly enjoyable for the homeowner. VanHorn Design offers the professional expertise of making your landscape dream transform from a vision into a reality.

VanHorn Design works diligently to bring clients a stunning design with all of the criteria and information needed to see out the desired vision of their future landscape. We work hard to incorporate a “wow” factor that is unique in each design, exceeding expectations beyond compare.

Our goal is to not only meet the expectations of our clients’ wants and needs, but to ensure there are multiple aspects in the design that will leave them speechless.

Jaison VanHorn, President

President of VanHorn Design, Jaison VanHorn has over a decade of experience in both commercial and residential design. He also has many years of experience in field installation. Jaison has been awarded on both state and national levels from organizations such as PLANET (Professional Landscape Network) and PLNA (Pennsylvania Landscape and Nursery Association). He is highly talented in landscape design and creates outdoor environments that are truly unique and unforgettable. 

Jaison has always had a passion for nature, art and creating memories. He developed experience in both art and construction throughout his early years. Soon after, he pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Contracting from the Pennsylvania State University. He learned from leaders of the green industry and also studied with the coming innovators.

Jaison greatly enhanced his skills out of college working for a premier landscape company, Eichenlaub Inc. During his career there, he went from working as a landscape foreman to the lead designer. Immediately after his career at Eichenluab Inc., Jaison started VanHorn Design to better serve installation contractors as well as property owners.

Elliot Redding, Designer

Elliot, a graduate from The Pennsylvania State University, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Contracting, has been with VanHorn Design for 5 years now. Elliot’s passion for the outdoors and background in competitive mountain biking give him a natural edge for being one of the best designers in the area.
