This project, located close to a nuclear power plant, is as it states, a nuclear getaway. The goal of this project was to incorporate a smidge of tropical into a living theme that feels midwestern. With a stone and shaker house, our designers created a landscape that includes a pool, spa, lounge area, fire pit, and outdoor kitchen. In addition to these areas, there is also a “private” tiki bar a little ways away from the main features. An addition to the existing house, a car port was designed to be installed with the same material as the house to give the feel that they were constructed at the same time. Plantings were installed all through the front and back of the landscape, along with a stone column and wooden gate at the entrance of the driveway.
